How Does MDF Academy Work? FAQ

Each MDF course is created, owned and managed by the instructor(s). The foundation of each MDF course are its lectures, which can include videos, slides, and text. In addition, instructors can add resources and various types of practice activities, as a way to enhance the learning experience of students.

MDF Academy courses are entirely on-demand. You can begin the course whenever you like, and there are no deadlines to complete it.

MDF courses can be accessed from several different devices and platforms, including a desktop, laptop, and our mobile app.

After you enroll in a course, you can access it by clicking on the course link you will receive in your confirmation email (provided you’re logged into your MDF Academy account). You can also begin the course by logging in and navigating to your My learning page.

Your dashboard gives you access to the courses and programs that you have enrolled in, and to information such as course start and end dates, certificates, and email settings.

Access your dashboard by opening the dropdown menu next to your username at the top of any page and selecting Dashboard.

Courses page
The Courses page lists all the courses you have enrolled in, whether the course is current or has ended. This page provides links to your courses and allows you to change course settings, such as email subscription settings.

Programs page
The Programs page lists any programs Professional Certificate, or XSeries programs, that you are enrolled in, or that are associated with courses you are taking. Programs appear on this page if you are enrolled in any course that is part of that program. Click on a program to go to the program details page.

As noted above, there are no deadlines to begin or complete the course. Even after you complete the course you will continue to have access to it, provided that your account’s in good standing, and MDF continues to have a license to the course.
